Baía da Luz is a resort with a good range of facilities, including two swimming pools (one heated during the winter months), tennis courts, a children's playground, gardens and a restaurant
Praia da Luz area also has a lot to offer, including a wonderful sandy beach that stretches for half a mile, with crystal clear water. On the beach, you can rent water sports equipment, such as e.g. kayaks, surfboards and stand-up paddleboards. The town has a good range of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as a supermarket and pharmacy.
There are also many attractions and activities nearby, such as Sagres lighthouse, Lagos marina, cave exploration and hiking in Costa Vicentina National Park.
